SVG to PNG — When and How to Convert Online
Convert SVG vector graphics to PNG bitmaps with 1x/2x/3x scale, transparent or white background, and batch ZIP. Fully local in your browser—no uploads.
SVG is ideal for web icons and illustrations, but many platforms do not accept SVG uploads. Converting SVG to PNG is one of the most reliable ways to use vector artwork on social media, in email, and in legacy software.
Why convert SVG to PNG?
- Most social platforms reject SVG uploads.
- Email clients have inconsistent SVG support.
- PNG gives you fixed pixel dimensions (e.g. 512×512 icons).
- PNG supports transparency for logos and overlays.

Scale and sizing
The tool reads SVG width, height, and viewBox. If the longest side is under 512 px, output is upscaled to at least 512 px. Use 2x / 3x for Retina displays and high-DPI print.
Transparent vs white PNG
- Transparent (default): icons and logos on any background.
- White: apps or workflows that do not handle alpha channels well.
Batch SVG to PNG
Upload many SVGs, apply the same scale and background, and download a ZIP—great for design exports and icon libraries.
